Abstract
Statement of the problem: This research aims to study the ideological effects of one of the important social practices of revolutionary art, namely the Fajr Visual Arts Festival during the period of principlism and the crystallization of its cultural values in the characteristics of contemporary Iranian calligraphy. The importance of this period in the history of Iranian cultural developments is important because of the effort to revive and return to the ideals of the revolution, therefore, the reflection of cultural values in the discursive structures and organization of this event as an important institution of ideological organization and discursive realizations of the festival is evident and valuable.

Research objective: The aim of this research is to explain the cultural values emerging from the period of principlism in the works and statements of the Fajr Festival, which led to the organization of this festival as a discursive tool in this period.

The data were collected through purposeful and non-random sampling from the selected statements, speeches, interviews, documents, and works of this festival, and the statistical population was the selected documents and works of the calligraphy section of the Fajr Visual Arts Festival.
